My Last days in D.I.M.
It's official. I will be leaving my band D.I.M. after our Feb 16th Show at the 7th Street entry in Minneapolis. I have been involved in the project since new years day 2006. I have no regrets of my time in the band or leaving, it just feels like the right thing to do and the right time to do it. I am glad I had a chance to be in such a genre defying band and to be a (re)founding member as well. I have been made aware that the band will be continuing on with a new drummer. DIM's first show w/o me will be The Heaven Shall Burn show on April 16th 2008. I wish them the best of luck. My last two shows with D.I.M. will be on Feb 8th 2008 at The Garage in Burnsville, MN with Myiasis, Wraithian, Bronnson, Enshrined among others. And the final one on Feb 16th 2008 at the 7th St. Entry with Rotting Christ, Immolation, Belphegor, and Averse Sefira. In my time with D.I.M. we wrote 8 songs. 5 of them were released as an E.P. titled "Offerings to Molech" the other 3 later were written w/o founding member Neil Pruett. "Ode to the Saint and Sinner," "Payback on a Stick," and a new song which is still in the writing process with the working title "Where's your God Now." I am proud of what we created as a band and I look forward to seeing what they can accomplish next. We are parting on extremely good terms and we remain good friends. For me I am going to focus on a solo project for now, as well as the production side of things.
